Motorola launches slim Edge 70 as KT-exclusive model

Motorola Korea said Thursday it has officially launched the Motorola Edge 70, a slim smartphone positioned around portability, as an exclusive model for KT.

The Edge 70 is priced at 550,000 won ($377) and will be sold only through KT channels.

The device measures 5.99 millimeters in thickness and weighs 159 grams, underscoring its focus on lightweight design. It is slightly thicker than Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S25 Edge, a slim model unveiled last year with a 5.8-millimeter profile.

To enhance durability, the smartphone features an aircraft-grade aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front. It also meets the U.S. Department of Defense’s MIL-STD-810H standard and carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Edge 70 is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery, offering up to 38 hours of mixed-use operation. It supports 68-watt wired fast charging and 15-watt wireless charging.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 application processor, the device features 50-megapixel high-resolution cameras on both the front and rear, with optical image stabilization (OIS) support.

The Edge 70 will be available at KT stores nationwide and through the carrier’s official online shop. It comes in two colors for the Korean market: Gadget Gray and Lily Pad.
