Naver said on Tuesday that it will appoint three new C-level executives effective February 1, reinforcing its management accountability framework alongside its existing chief operating officer and chief financial officer structure.

As part of the move, Kim Kwang-hyun, head of the search platform division, will be appointed Chief Data & Contents Officer (CDO). He will lead efforts to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence agents across Team Naver’s core services, while integrating and upgrading the company’s search and data technology platforms.

In addition, Yoo Bong-seok, head of the policy and risk management division, will take on the role of Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO). In the position, he will oversee companywide policy and risk management amid rapidly changing external conditions, guiding Naver’s policy operations and the creation of a stable service environment to support sustainable growth based on trust from users and stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Hwang Soon-bae, head of the HR division, will be appointed Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to build an integrated human resources system aimed at enabling both the company and its employees to grow together.
