79 shows in 34 cities: BTS unveils record-breaking world tour

BTS is set to embark on its largest-ever world tour this spring, a sprawling stadium run that will span five continents and rewrite touring records in K-pop.
The group will kick off the tour in April, marking its first full-scale global concert series since concluding “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage” in Las Vegas in 2022. The announcement was made midnight Tuesday via Weverse, a global fandom platform, alongside the release of an official “BTS World Tour” poster.
The tour will begin in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, before extending to North America, Europe, South America and Asia. A total of 79 concerts across 34 cities have been confirmed so far — the most shows ever staged in a single tour by a K-pop act. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to be announced, further expanding the tour’s footprint.
BTS will open the run with three shows on April 9 and April 11–12 at Goyang Sports Complex. The group is also scheduled to perform in Busan on June 12 and 13, with the latter date coinciding with its debut anniversary — a moment likely to carry added significance for fans.

The North American leg will begin April 25–26 in Tampa, Florida and comprise 28 shows across 12 cities. BTS is set to make multiple venue-firsts, including performances at Sun Bowl stadium in El Paso, Texas, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts — the first K-pop concerts to be held at both sites.
In another milestone, BTS will take the stage at Stanford Stadium, California, becoming only the second artist to perform there after British band Coldplay. The itinerary also includes AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas — the world’s largest domed stadium by capacity — and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, where BTS will be the first Korean act to headline.
From June through July, the tour will move to Europe, featuring 10 concerts across five cities, including London and Paris. The group will also stage its first-ever solo shows in Madrid and Brussels.
The South American leg will cover five cities, including Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, Argentina, with plans in place to extend the tour into the Middle East.
The BTS World Tour is expected to feature large-scale production aligned with its scope, including a 360-degree stage designed to enhance audience immersion.
Ahead of the tour, BTS will release its fifth studio album on March 20. The 14-track release marks the group’s first full-group comeback in approximately three years and nine months. According to its agency Big Hit Music, the album reflects the emotions and reflections accumulated during the members’ recent journey, presenting “who BTS is today.”
