Berlin cold-weather buses aid homeless with nightly shelter transport and relief services

People who cannot reach emergency shelters on their own are helped by Berlin City Mission?s cold-weather buses. Each night, up to three donation-funded buses operate from 8:00pm to 2:00am, transporting homeless people or offering tea and soup. The service has two full-time drivers and around 60 volunteers, who also distribute sleeping bags.
