Artificial intelligence is rapidly finding its place in medical settings where lives are on the line.

From easing emergency room overcrowding to assisting doctors with diagnosis and treatment, AI is taking on a growing role in healthcare.

This ambulance is equipped with AI features.

AI categorizes emergency patients into groups based on their condition and determines which hospital they should be transported to.

It also shares patient information in real time with nearby hospitals.

When this system goes on a trial run in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province from as early as next year, it's expected to prevent the chronic issue of ambulance ramping.
