K-pop group Twice is set to make history in Japan. The group will headline a three-day solo concert next April at Tokyo's Japan National Stadium. This is the first time a foreign act has ever taken the stage there. Here's our last story.

Twice has announced that it will hold concerts over a period of three days at Tokyo's Japan National Stadium next April.

It is part of the K-pop girl group's world tour 'This is For' held to mark their tenth anniversary.

Originally built for the 2020 Summer Olympics, the Japan National Stadium is capable of accommodating up to 80,000 people at once.

Twice is the first foreign artist to hold a solo concert at the stadium.

The girl group plans to draw a total audience of 240,000 through the three shows, which means 80,000 attendees per show.

Last July, Twice became the first K-pop girl group to perform at Japan's Nissan Stadium with a capacity of some 70,000 seats, attracting a total audience of 140,000 in its two-day concert.
