A leading global music magazine has revealed its list of the 50 best songs of the year. Even some of the K-pop tracks made the cut. Here's our last story of the day.

Girl group Katseye, jointly produced by Korean entertainment giant HYBE and a U.S. record company, is growing at a remarkable pace.

Renowned British music magazine NME on Monday, local time, announced the 50 best songs of 2025.

Katseye's ‘Gnarly’ ranked 5th. It's the highest ranking K-pop song on the list.

NME said that since their debut last year, the group was undergoing swift, powerful transformation, noting they booted all sweetness out of the picture with the attitude and divisive edge of ‘Gnarly’.

At 43rd on the list is ‘Spinnin’ On It’ by girl group NMIXX.

The famed song ‘Golden’ from the film ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ ranked 46th.

Meanwhile, ‘Illegal’ by British singer-songwriter PinkPantheress topped the list as best song of the year.
