Kurly launches AI-powered diet management app ‘Roution’

South Korea’s leading online grocery and lifestyle platform Kurly Inc. released “Roution,” an artificial intelligence-based diet management app that provides personalized meal recommendations, on Thursday.

The app allows users to log meals and receive tailored suggestions. By uploading a food photo or typing in a menu item, Roution AI calculates calorie and nutrient ratios. It recommends daily intake targets and balanced meal plans based on age, gender, weight, and activity levels.

Roution also connects directly to Kurly’s e-commerce platform. The AI organizes products by food type, analyzes nutritional information, and links items to meals, enabling users to purchase recommended foods via the app. Points earned by logging meals or completing missions can be redeemed on Kurly’s platform.

Kurly plans to evolve Roution into a broader health management platform by adding features for tracking health indicators and monitoring personal conditions.
