Samsung Electronics Co. said Wednesday it will unveil a hood-integrated induction cooktop at IFA 2025, Europe’s largest home appliance exhibition, to be held next month in Berlin.

The new Samsung Infinite Line Integrated Induction Hobs model combines an induction cooktop with a built-in fan and filter system that absorbs cooking odors and smoke, which are either expelled via a duct beneath the unit or purified through the filter.

By eliminating the need for a separate ceiling hood, the design supports open kitchen layouts while reducing installation time and cost.

The appliance is equipped with a turbo slim fan that minimizes air resistance, enabling strong airflow to quickly clear smoke and odors while keeping noise low. The large-diameter fan also meets Europe’s A++ energy efficiency standard.

Its “quattro flex” zone uses four interwoven coils to heat wide surfaces evenly, allowing users to cook large portions at once. The surface is made of scratch-resistant, high-hardness glass with a matte finish and anti-stain coating for easy removal of food residue and fingerprints.

Samsung plans to release the cooktop in Korea and Europe in 2026, citing the growing demand for hood-integrated models in the European market.

The company emphasized that the product aligns with recent kitchen design trends while combining strong performance with durable materials.
