Relatives of forcibly disappeared rally for justice in Jaffna

They called for an independent international investigation to uncover the truth and ensure accountability for their loved ones. Excavations carried out in June and July 2025 have already uncovered 81 sets of human remains. The Chemmani mass grave, located in Sri Lanka's Jaffna Peninsula, was first revealed in the late 1990s.
