Korea Investment partners with Switzerland’s UBP to enhance wealth management

Korea Investment & Securities Co. announced on Thursday that it will enhance its wealth management services through a strategic collaboration with Switzerland-based asset manager Union Bancaire Privée (UBP).

According to the company, UBP’s head of global asset management, Nicolas Faller, visited Korea on Wednesday and met with Korea Investment & Securities representatives to discuss areas of cooperation, including private banking, family office services, and global alternative investment products.

UBP operates in 23 countries and specializes in asset management for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Through this strategic partnership, Korea Investment & Securities plans to expand personnel and knowledge exchanges, particularly among private bankers, and incorporate UBP’s global expertise to upgrade its asset management offerings.
