SK telecom Co.’s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered note-taking service has surpassed 300,000 cumulative users within a week of its beta release on the AI platform A. (A Dot), the telecom carrier said Monday.

The Note service transcribes spoken content in real time and generates summaries. After recording, users can choose from templates such as summaries, meeting minutes, or lecture notes, and the AI organizes key content accordingly.

Its real-time transcription allows users to view content on screen as it is recorded. A real-time summary function also helps retrieve missed information by compiling content at regular intervals.

Usage data from the first week showed peak activity between 10–11 a.m. and 3–5 p.m., with users in their 30s and 40s accounting for half of all users.

SK telecom attributed the trend to demand from professionals seeking immediate access to meeting content.

Mobile apps on iOS and Android accounted for 80 percent of usage, while PC web access made up the remaining 20 percent.

Users expressed interest in features such as more template options, expanded language support, and longer recording times.

SK telecom plans to incorporate this feedback in a full version slated for release later this year.
