LG Uplus announced on Sunday that it has launched “Why Not SW Camp,” which aims to nurture talent in the big data and cloud computing fields to meet businesses’ digital transformation (DX) demands.

The company plans to train about 120 working-level DX professionals via the program, which is part of the “K-Digital Training (KDT)” project organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korean Skills Quality Authority under Korea University of Technology and Education. LG Uplus aims to support the development and employment of professionals in fields such as AI, big data, and cloud computing via the program and collaborated with Hyundai Research Institute to develop an educational curriculum.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend various courses, including “Job Training” conducted by LG Uplus developers, “Technology Trend Lectures” where experts from various fields share the latest technological advancements, and “Employment Lecture” where they can get resume writing and interview tips. The program will run for six months and is designed for individuals holding the National Tomorrow Learning Card.
