LG Energy Solution hosts recruitment event in New York

LG Energy Solution Ltd. (LGES), the pure-play vehicle battery maker under South Korea’s LG Group, held a global talent recruitment event in New York, the United States, on Saturday (local time)

Key executives including Chief Executive Officer Kim Dong-Myung were in attendance and the move signals the company’s intent to enhance technological competitiveness by securing top talent.

LGES announced on Sunday that it hosted the 2024 Battery Tech Conference (BTC) at Marriott Marquis in New York on Saturday. The BTC is the company’s annual global talent recruitment event aimed at sharing LGES‘s future growth plans with various talents.

The event follows the previous year’s in San Francisco and marks the second consecutive year it has been held in the United States. Key executives included Kim, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) Lee Jin-kyu, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO) Kim Ki-soo, and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Kim Je-young.

“The battery market is just at the beginning of its growth, and joining LG Energy Solution will provide opportunities for growth,” CEO Kim said.
