According to the Miami Government, the Florida State Road 836 (Dolphin Expressway) is a 14.1 mile toll facility connecting Downtown Miami with Miami International Airport (MIA) and the western suburbs completed in 1969. The Florida State Road 836 is under renovation in a partnership between the Florida Department of Transportation and the Greater Miami Expressway Agency.
