Park Jong-geun‘s paintings take us on a nostalgic journey

A new exhibition featuring 40 works by the late South Korean painter Park Jong-geun, whose work incorporated familial warmth and all things nostalgic, is now open at Morning Focus Gallery in Insa-dong, Seoul. The event showcases 40 of the artist’s paintings from the late 1990s and runs until May 31st, 2024.

“Park’s paintings remind me of scenes from my childhood,” a source from the gallery said adding, “We hope that as we celebrate Family Month [every May], will be a good opportunity to reflect on the meaning of families and reminisce about our childhoods.”
