Pakistani students repatriated from Kyrgyzstan after mobs attack

Some 140 Pakistani students have been repatriated from Kyrgyzstan after mobs attacked foreign citizens, including Pakistanis, in the capital, Bishkek. The attacks were prompted by anti-foreigner sentiment following a viral video of a brawl involving Kyrgyz and Egyptian students. The Pakistani government arranged a special flight to bring back the students, with plans for more flights to evacuate those who wish to leave. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is sending a delegation to provide assistance to Pakistani students in Bishkek, and the foreign ministry has lodged a protest with Kyrgyzstan over the violence.
