Bodeum Company, run by dog trainer Kang Hyung-wook and his wife, is embroiled in controversy over accusations of workplace mistreatment. Negative online comments about the company are going viral.

Bodeum Company’s rating is currently 1.7 out of five on Job Planet, an online recruitment and job search platform.

“I quit here and got therapy due to a panic disorder, anxiety and depression,” reads a one-star review from April. “My mind has been devastated by the continuous gaslighting, blasphemy of character and continuous work requests after hours.”

The review said that Kang and his wife often gave instructions outside of working hours, including orders to make dermatology reservations. “It's a workplace that makes me feel sorry for my parents who raised me.”
