Lotte Wellfood announced on Friday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Studio Dragon to enhance collaboration in their global market. This marks the first partnership of its kind between a food company and a content production studio, aiming to create a synergy between K-snacks and K-content.

Lotte Wellfood plans to engage in marketing activities linked to major productions by Studio Dragon and launch specially designed products. Studio Dragon, renowned for its hit series such as “Queen of Tears,” “The Glory,” and “Goblin,” will provide a robust platform for these collaborative efforts.

With operations in seven countries and eight subsidiaries, Lotte Wellfood reported about 1 trillion won in global sales last year.

“We will leverage Studio Dragon’s content to enhance the global market competitiveness of our diverse brand products,” said Lotte Wellfood CEO Lee Chang-yeop.
