(240516) -- HEFEI, May 16, 2024 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on May 16, 2024 shows the city test track of Volkswagen China Technology Company (VCTC) in Hefei, east China's Anhui Province. VCTC launched the city test track Thursday in Hefei City, capital of east China's Anhui Province.

The track focuses on performance testing and function validations of intelligent connected vehicles, standing as the first of its kind within the Volkswagen Group in China.

Covering an area of 200,000 square meters, the track enables real-time testing and adjustments of the vehicle, and accelerates the iteration speed of software and hardware application development. (Xinhua)
