Musical “Maybe Happy Ending," which premiered in Seoul, is heading to Broadway this fall.

Written by Hue Park and Will Aronson, the show opened at the DaeMyung Culture Factory in 2016 and won six Korean Musical Awards, including Best Musical.

It is set to kick off its fifth run in the city next month at the Yes24 Stage in Jongno District, central Seoul.

The Broadway production of "Maybe Happy Ending" is slated to begin on Oct. 17, with previews from Sept. 18 at the Belasco Theatre.

It stars Glee star and Emmy and Golden Globe-winner, Darren Criss, alongside Helen J. Shen, who is making her Broadway debut. Tony Award-winner Michael Arden is the director. The producers are Jeffrey Richards, Hunter Arnold and Criss.

"Maybe Happy Ending" is a futuristic love story about two abandoned robots in Seoul, Oliver (Criss) and Claire (Shen), who journey together to find Oliver's human owner, James.

The show was reportedly written in Korean and English upon its creation. Park and Aronson are behind the book and music of numerous hit new musicals in Korea, including the most recent Korean historical musical "Il Tenore," which premiered last year.
