Girl group Candy Shop is making a comeback in June with new member Julia, according to its agency Brave Entertainment on Tuesday.
Julia is joining after member Yuina had to go on hiatus due to health complications earlier this month on May 9.
Julia is 16 years old and currently attending high school. “She is musically talented, good at playing instruments such as the piano and flute,” said Brave Entertainment. "She is also a gifted actor."
Candy Shop made its official debut with members Soram, Sui, Sarang and Yuina on March 27 with its first EP, “Hashtag#.” The girl group has been produced by Brave Brothers, who wrote hit songs for girl groups After School, Sistar, AOA and more.
Candy Shop will perform with new member Julia at the K-pop festival, “Ikonyx 2024 Concert,” held in Thunderdome Stadium, Bangkok, on May 18.
