Everland’s Rose Festival to kick off on May 17

Everland, South Korea’s largest theme park operated by Samsung C&T Corp. will kick off its Rose Festival on Friday, displaying 3 million roses of 720 varieties.

The Rose Festival began its journey as the country’s first flower festival in 1985. The event opened the doors to about 70 flower festivals hosted by regional governments and companies.

This year’s gala, which will be held until June 16, will present Everose, a rose species developed by Everland. Visitors can join various activities, including audio-guided tours.
