Wanted Lab has opened a beta version of Wanted Global, a job listing website for foreign nationals.

The website lists roles which are welcoming applications from foreign nationals in Korea, according to Wanted Lab on Tuesday.

The company operates Wanted, a job listing and career development website. Wanted Global aims to gather various job listings for foreigners all in one place to make their job searching experience easier.

Based on a Statistics Korea survey of 20,000 foreign nationals conducted in 2023, 68 percent of the respondents had experience of job searching in Korea. Of them, 21.9 percent said not having enough information about available jobs was the biggest obstacle.

Another 15.1 percent said not being good at Korean was the biggest difficulty, and 6.6 percent said there was a lack of jobs in the area where they live.

Jobs on the Wanted Global website focus on the digital field, which Wanted Lab defines as developers, digital business project managers, marketing and design.

Users can filter jobs by field, position and whether remote work is available.

How much Korean proficiency is required is an important factor for foreign nationals, and the website allows users to filter jobs by three categories: where Korean is required, not required or having proficiency is considered a plus.

"International employees have a strong understanding of global markets and also play an important role by bringing creativity from their diverse cultural backgrounds," said Jenny Kim, head of Wanted Lab's Global Business Team.

"Starting with the beta service, we plan to offer various other services to help local companies go global, like hiring assistance or business support."
