TWS will release a new album in June, the rookie boy band’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, told the Korea JoongAng Daily.
“TWS is currently preparing for a comeback, aiming to prerelease a song in early June,” the agency said Friday, adding that exact dates will be announced later.
Ilgan Sports reported Friday that the rookie boy band is preparing for a new album and shooting a music video in Hong Kong.
TWS debuted on Jan. 22 with its first EP, “Sparkling Blue,” as Pledis Entertainment’s next-generation boy band, nine years after Seventeen made its debut in 2015. It has six members — Youngjae, Jihoon, Dohoon, Kyungmin, Shinyu and Hanjin.
The band’s debut lead track, “plot twist,” landed No. 1 on Melon’s, Genie’s and Bugs' real-time streaming charts and No. 2 on Melon's daily, weekly and monthly charts.
