Netmarble to release new MMORPG in 4 regions

South Korean video game developer Netmarble Corp. will officially launch its latest massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), “Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions” at 8 p.m. on Wednesday in Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.

Based on the popular television series of the same name and developed by Netmarble F&C Inc., the game follows the power struggles of three factions - Arthdal, Ago, and the Lawless - as they vie for dominance over the mythical land of Arth.

Netmarble jointly worked with Studio Dragon Corp. on the game since the production of Season 2 of the TV series, primarily focusing on expanding the in-game universe by introducing new regions, characters and storylines.

Players can construct buildings and unlock new areas. The game also has a system in which day and night cycles and weather conditions change.
