Hyundai AutoEver hires ERP specialist from Samsung

South Korea’s Hyundai AutoEver Corp. has recruited Kim Sun-woo, a former enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology leader and head of information technology outsourcing (ITO) operations at Samsung Electronics Co., as the head of its newly established ERP Center, the company said on Tuesday.

Kim is highly regarded for his expertise in the manufacturing sector, gained through his experience at Samsung Electronics and Volvo AB.

“Kim also worked at SAP SE, a global enterprise software company, for 10 years, where he led ERP implementations in various industries,” said a company official. “He has outstanding skills in managing large-scale projects and building global operating systems.”

The new ERP Center consolidates functions previously scattered across business units into a single hub, providing integrated ERP one-stop services.

Hyundai AutoEver has been intensifying its efforts in talent recruitment since the inauguration of President Kim Yun-goo in March 2024.

The company also recruited Ryoo Seok-moon, former chief software (SW) engineer at SOCAR Inc., as the head of the software development and quality division in April.
