WOLVERHAMPTON, England — Hwang Hee-chan is set to get his first start since February on Saturday evening as Wolverhampton Wanderers host Arsenal at Molineux in Wolverhampton, England.
Hwang will lead the Wolves attack against Arsenal, who trail Manchester City by just two points with six games left to play this season.
The Korean midfielder is unlikely to see more than the first half, with manager Gary O’Neil saying in the pre-match press conference on Friday that Hwang can only play “45 minutes tops.”
Hwang has been out since February with a hamstring injury, returning last week for 31 minutes against Nottingham Forest. He has only played for Wolves three times this year — starting on Feb. 17 and 25 on top of last week’s game, having missed the start of the year while on international duty for the Asian Cup.
Wolves are set to face Arsenal at 7:30 p.m., or 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning in Korea.
