Seoul city workers clean the dust off of the statue of King Sejong in Gwanghwamun, central Seoul, on Tuesday morning. Due to the recent yellow and fine dust sweeping the country, the cleaning procedure was carried out in four stages.
The procedure starts off by removing the dust and then washing the statue. After the washing process, cleaners remove the debris from the statue and finish by coating it.
On Wednesday, the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin is set to be cleaned up, according to the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
The statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin is also in Gwanghwamun, standing in front of the statue of King Sejong.
