Nexon to release console version of Dave the Diver adventure game

Nexon Korea Corp. will release the PlayStation console version of its marine adventure game “Dave the Diver” (Dave) on April 16, the company said on Wednesday.

Dave holds a significant position among Nexon‘s intellectual properties (IPs) and enjoys a widespread global following.

Its PC version, which debuted in June 2023, claimed the top spot in global sales on Steam, the world’s largest game distribution platform, within a day of its release.

Dave marked a milestone by exceeding 3 million cumulative sales, making it the first Korean single-package game to achieve such a feat.

The new console version elevates the thrill of marine exploration through the PlayStation‘s DualSense controller, the company said.

Players will experience an enhanced level of immersion, feeling the sensation of reeling in marine species through the innovative “haptic feedback” feature.
