Inspire Arena to stage 'Alice in Wonderland' circus in May

Inspire Arena in Incheon will be staging a family-friendly "Alice in Wonderland" circus next month, in light of National Children's Day, Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort announced Monday.
Slated to run from May 4 to 6, the circus features the Ukrainian troupe Theatre Circus Elysium of Kyiv, currently on a world tour. It is inspired by Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and incorporates classic circus acts, modern ballet, acrobatics and musical theater.
Inspire Arena is a multipurpose hall that opened in December. It has since held a slew of high-profile events, including the Melon Music Awards 2023, Maroon 5’s concert and the international table tennis competition, WTT Champions Incheon 2024.
“As Inspire aims to hold diverse genres of performances at Inspire Arena to emphasize the venue’s strength as a multipurpose indoor hall, I am pleased to present 'The Family Circus Show 'Alice in Wonderland’ World Tour,' which spans various genres including circus and musical theater, for the family month of May,” Jamie Jang, Arena General Manager of Mohegan Inspire, said through the press release. “As the show is proven to be a well-made production loved by audiences around the globe, it will most certainly be a performance that inspires and moves children and families celebrating Children's Day at Inspire."
Inspire will also be handing out Best Dresser and Best Photo awards to children at the circus. A selected handful who best match the "Alice in Wonderland" theme will be featured on a large LED screen ahead of the show and the one winner will receive a small gift.
To participate in the Best Photo event, visitors must take photos at various photo zones around the Arena, upload them on Instagram and tag the official Inspire Instagram account.
Tickets to the "Alice in Wonderland" circus world tour are available on Interpark Ticket, Melon Ticket, Yes24 and Ticketlink, starting on April 1 at 2 p.m. Various discount benefits are available, such as 30 percent off for those who purchase tickets during the early-booking period from April 1 to 7; 30 percent off for Incheon residents and INSPIRE Momentum members starting from April 8; and 25 percent off for teenagers.
Inspire Entertainment Resort celebrated its grand opening on March 5. Its facilities include three five-star hotel towers with different themes, a digital immersive street inspired by the aurora borealis, a kinetic chandelier titled Rotunda, Inspire Mall and Splash Bay, an indoor water park. Recently, facilities for kids’ entertainment such as a kids’ slime café, a bowling center, an arcade gaming center and various restaurants and dessert cafes have additionally opened at Inspire Mall. In May, a media art exhibition, a food court in collaboration with Glow Seoul and an outdoor experiential entertainment park dubbed Discovery Park, will also open.
