SK shieldus, HDC partner up for apartment security solutions

SK shieldus is collaborating with HDC Hyundai Development Company to develop an integrated security system for IPark, HDC Hyundai Development Company‘s apartment brand.

The partnership is tailored to address security concerns that have put residential areas at risk of cyberattacks and safety threats, including residential break-ins and smart home hacking. The two companies will develop security solutions for individual households and the IPark apartment complexes at large.

SK shieldus will integrate its information security service CyberGuard into IPark complex’s smart home systems. CyberGuard boasts various security features, including cloud-based network access control (NAC) that is geared towards preemptively thwarting cyberattacks on apartments.
