KT provides shared roaming service for 5 users

KT Corp. has expanded the number of users for its roaming service to five people from three, the company said Thursday.

The telecom carrier has been offering a roaming service product for travelers that allows family members or friends using KT to roam together with only one person who applies for the service.

KT has also increased the basic data allowance for the shared roaming service in countries outside of Asia and the Americas by up to 50 percent.

The number of countries eligible for voice roaming services has also been increased to 50 from 46. With an expected increase in the number of overseas travelers this year, KT plans to further enhance its roaming products and benefits.
