Drama and Company, operator of the business card sharing app Remember, announced Monday that it has acquired Superookie, a platform specializing in recruiting first-time employees and interns.
Starting with this acquisition, Drama and Company said that it plans to strengthen its competitiveness in the recruitment sector by pursuing additional acquisitions of job searching platforms.
At the end of last year, Drama and Company announced that it would actively pursue mergers and acquisitions for business growth after attracting 160-billion-won ($121.9 million) worth of investment.
“Companies are very interested in acquiring talent quickly,” said Choi Jae-ho, CEO of the company. “Through the acquisition of Superookie, we will continue to maintain the competitiveness of the high-level talent pool of Remember by acquiring outstanding talent at the start of their careers.”
