epa02662813 Cyclists climb on a steep assent during the time trial stage 4 of the Absa Cape Epic mountain bike team stage race in Worcester, South Africa, 31 March 2011. The Absa Cape Epic is the premier multi day stage race in the world and sees 1,200 cyclists ride 707km and climb 14,500m; twice the high of Mount Everest; over 7 days of racing. The 2011 event will see 7 World Champion riders taking part and is a massive logistical project. Around 1,400 tents are pitched per day, 280 tons of equipment moved from stage to stage by almost 790 volunteers.
