epa01713020 Unidentified family members pay their last respect as the body of a Polish Geologist murdered in Pakistan arrived aboard a Pakistani Hercules C-130 plane in Warsaw, Poland, 29 April 2009. Piotr Stanczak was abducted by militants in northwest Pakistan last September, his captors demanding freedom for imprisoned comrades in return for his release. The Pole was executed on 07 February after the Pakistani government missed a deadline for releasing the imprisoned Taliban.
